The D*A*V*I*D Principle

“A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading.” William Styron

“Books are a uniquely portable magic.” Stephen King

Late last year, I was asked to be the Interim Facilitator for my book club. I love my book club, so I immediately said yes. I was thrilled and honoured to be asked, but also somewhat trepidatious. You see, one of my first tasks was to select our reading choices for the next few months. Do you have any idea how many exceptional books there are out there?! It was a thoroughly enjoyable, if initially overwhelming, process that involved dozens of hours searching and vetting various authors and titles. What I thought might take me a few days ended up taking a few weeks, but I learned a great deal along the way, all of which I have coalesced into The D*A*V*I*D Principle! Take a look and feel free to share my graphic with your own book club!
